Deja Vu Trade Tasting (The four seasons hotel, the rocks, sydney) : Strawberry, clove, cedar, slightly off dry on the palate, strawberry fruit, big boned, long finish carries the fruit - well made but not my cup of tea

A harmonious nose of sour cherry with notes of forest floor and cinnamon. A balanced palate with a firm acidity and medium tannins providing structure to the core of soft cherry fruit. Some earthy/spicy complexity, a silky texture with a fairly long finish. Overall a pleasant wine. Fully mature now but could keep for another 1-2 years.

exactly what I like in Martinborough Pinot - deep fruit but with driving power that surprises. Red berries, plum, cinnamon lead into deep red fruits and plenty of spice - cinnamon, aniseed and cloves. Silk, silk, silk.

Bright brick red in colour. Elegant fine oak nose, with underlying red berries and hints of tobacco leaf. Somewhat lean/elegant palate with some suppleness. Has chewy tannins and finishes quite long.

Medium intensity, dark colour, thinning edge. Savoury spicy nose – cinnamon, nutmeg and maybe some plum. Rich velvety palette, savoury, blood, good acidity and silky tannins.
