Very good considering the vintage. Still lots of life left, some nice black fruit coming through along with the complexity from the oak aging. Very enjoyable.

The cork was completely knackered and turned to crumbs when I tried to extract it. The fill level was fine however. Strained into a decanter with two hours of air. Thankfully fine with plum and cassis and black licorice. Not super concentrated but drinking well now.

There is an initial attack of the dark fruit with some mocha, coffee, blueberry. The structure of the wine is great. One that when you finish a sip, you check your watch to see how long until your next. The finish is moderate …
