Beautiful balance with crunchy tannins that are well integrated but require some good aeration before fully opening up. Another solid showing from Yatir.

Israel-tasting, flight 3, wine 2 (non-blind): 15% ABV. The wine was dark ruby in colour and offered ripe dark fruit and a plastic note on the nose, and ripe red and dark berries, dark cherry, chocolate and spices on the palate, with notable but well-integrated tannin. The wine was masculine and a little rustic and the finish seemed a little weak, but the wine was well-balanced and drank well. It improved with some time in the glass and I recommend …

Very much Medoc style - but too much power and too little structure. Interesting though and good QPR for a Kosher Wine.

Flushed out with 15% Merlot and aged for 12 months in French oak barrels. Dark, inky purple in color with on the perfumed nose a mix of velvety floral notes of lavender and violets enveloping a bouquet of ripe forest fruits including blackberries, blueberries and raspberries as well as cherries, toasty oak and some hints of toasted oak and leather. Very full-bodied and powerful with multiple layers of ripe red and black fruit, some earthy mineral notes of graphite as …

Dark garnet with on the nose smoked meat, blackberries, ripe cassis and raspberries, smoked wood. Full-bodied with on the palate some almost overripe black fruit and toasty wood, much less acid than the other wines of the line up with velvety tannins, sweet chocolate and mocha on a very long finish. Quite good and certainly a much better wine than the 2-3 previous vintages.

Nice red color, quite bright; very thin nose, some plum and apricot. Palate: also plum and apricot, old fruits with a nice aftertaste of sweet berries. A fine, smooth and feminine wine. 88 points.
