Whoa! Given the other note(s), I must either have really unusual tastes, or have really lucked out on this bottle. Cork in good shape - bottom 1/2 saturated, top 1/2 almost like new but softer. opened--bad cork-color dark reddish with brown overtones. 1st tasting-still surprising strong tannins-little fruit after 35 min tannins smoothed out-lots more fruit after 90 min wine started to lose fruit and started to go downhill. should have drank this wine a decade earlier! MBS
