Bought this at the Selby tasting room in Healdsburg more out of politeness than admiration for the wine, but we were rewarded when we popped the cork on it a year later - seems to be entering a good drinking window, with well-integrated flavors and tannins. Features a uniquely prominent nose of clove with dark berries, eucalyptus, green pepper and spice on the palate. The mouthfeel is velvety and the finish is long.
