honeyed vanilla on nose that carries though to the creamy smooth palate. Long finish. These wines show why German riesling is the best value in world class wine. Well done Herr Ebert! 90-91

Deutschland 2009: Part 1 (Wine Exchange - Orange, CA) : Unmistakable funk on the nose, which has aromas of bleu cheese, minerals, and underlying stone fruits. The palate yields ample sweetness just not a lot going on flavor wise. I don’t know if this is in a weird phase or if this is the style of the wine but just okay for me and maybe even off-putting for some. 85?

Some Down to Earth 2007 Germans (The Wine Club, San Francisco) : Light color. Lemony and floral. Dry, light, and ephemeral. Very nice basic bottling.

Grosser Ring Tasting of 2007 wines from the Nahe, Mosel, Saar and Ruwer (German Embassy, London) : Citrus and pears on the nose with a big overlaying minerality. Very good palate. Again excellent balance. Very correct and enjoyable.
