Yarra Yering, Chardonnay, Victoria

Core of grapefruit, a bit thin, not a long finish. A little fuller and rounder on day two with some white stone fruit. Needs time, but don't think it has the potential to blow me away.

Electric white peach and lime, saline, chalky and mineral finish, driving like a well made Chablis. Outstanding.

This is a real treat. Quite buttery, with oak, tropical notes, citrus and minerality. High acidity and great length.

Great Yarra Valley Chardonnay. I guessed it was a big oaky Chardonnay so I decanted this wine and gave it 30 min to wake up. Not disappointed. A great honey rock melon nose. Slight mineral aftertaste. Long follow through finish. Like all Aussie premium Chardonnays it’s priced at $100+. ? that! Anyway a great wine that has the ability to improve for at least another 10 years. Love it
