alex valley... spicy green notes ..vegetal..asparagus...crushed pear fruit amongst a bunch of evergreen flavors...my glass is dirty so i drink straight from bottle... i taste flowers across palate now...chamomille..nettle...sour and sticky on mouthfeel...screw glasses if you REALLY want a taste a wine chug from the bottle,unaltered by any other surface....sauv blanc thoughts...muaha

Sauvignon Blanc is not a varietal I particularly enjoy. However, this is a good and nice value version of it. More complex than just gooseberry and grapefruit! I am getting medium aromas of lime, strong grassy and herbaceous notes, and white peach. Some cat pee. Juicy lime acidity and very good length It is at the mid-point in terms of intensity between a subtle Sancerre and a powerful New Zealand Kim Crawford. This would stand up well to food.

Terrific complexity of tropical and savory notes, showing some pineapple and guava, kiwi and gooseberry in a mélange of both California and New Zealand flavors. Rich aromas, clean and juicy with snappy balancing acidity and a medium+ finish. Loved this bottle.

PnP, chilled. Lots (and lots) of green grass and herbs on the nose. These follow on to the palate along with strong minerality and a touch of grapefruit, all wrapped in a (too) robust acidity. Not my kind of Sauv. Blc.

The strongest cat-pee note I've had in a Sauvignon Blanc for a long time. Not wholly off-putting, but this bottle is beyond grapefruit and gooseberry. That said, it's nice and crisp, generally well made, some peachiness, pretty nicely balanced, alcohol in check. $14.

A nicely balanced sauvignon blanc from a producer with years of experience working with this varietal. Subtle flavors of pineapple, lemon, lime, grapefruit and crushed gravel are intertwined on a medium-bodied frame with smooth edges. Soft, elegant finish with no alcohol burn.

Minerals and faint basil notes in the bouquet. Tangerines, peaches and other white stone fruits on the palate. Grassy in the front, and toasty on the back end. Not terribly complex, but a nice summertime quaffer. Time to drink up.

A little bit of stone street but not much I guess. Wine maker is not afriad of thyols or green or capcisum. Sorry about the spelling. And yes, that is green but in a pretty way, not a harsh or cat pee green. A little concrete egg and with some weight across the mid but in a good way.

First night - Lots of steely citrus in a light body with a long finish that kind of wanders everywhere in an unbalanced manner. Given whats there, it should have been much better. 85 Second night - So much better. All the flavors are now cohesive and flowing. 90 Final rating is an rounded up average
