Ch�teau de Puligny-Montrachet Pommard

Some sour Cherry, tannin and some acidity initially dominate. Starts to open and get more complex with air. Finish improves considerably. Remains a bit rustic but still enjoyable. May continue to gain complexity with some further bottle age?

Dark brilliant purple, primary fruit forward nose with hints of smoke, herbs and menthol, palate follows with lots of candied fruit and blackberries, medium to short sweet candied apple finish, very new world, can appreciate just not my style of pinot

Red Carpet: Bubble gummy nose, nasty 1st taste--bad glass? 2nd-straw. watermelon gum; soft--not impressed at all, but second glass frt driven.
