106 moons lapse (that note is on another site). Immediately: sumptuous and charming. Floral, pencil box, and ripe currants. Scented. Hale. Illuminated ruby red, like the color of younger wine. Tannins start sweet, juicy, and gain friction and detail as they open. Lilac. Sloe filet. Minted black soil. Optimum drinking; also it should have kept well for another five years. ________ >2 hours in, gaining depth, savor, sap, roasted root brine—floral aspect gained tension and levitation. A moving experience. Price …

Didn't take any notes but drank this over 2-3 nights (PnP). A few more years will do the wine well, the tannic structure is still a bit rough, just started to get edges a bit polished. Mostly red fruit and berries spectra, good freshness and the components feels quite complete and once the tannins mellowed a bit more it will drink even better. A long finish.

Medium body. Great nose, ripe blackcurrant and it’s leaf, green pepper, clean and well made. Plenty of time left to develop further

Medium ruby with garnet hues and pinkish rim. Bretty initially but with aeration blows off. However even on the second day there is a bit of muskiness, which I don't mind, I actually like but I guess some don't. The nose is vibrant with dark cherries, some strawberry nuances, forest floor and some cabfranc herbal touches in the back. Medium bodied with softish tannins, balancing acidity but not very deep or profound. Yet it flows nicely. Nice wine.

3 hour decant. Nose of tobacco leaf, strawberry and cherry. Fruit-toned sweetness. Red fruit and forest floor palate. Very fresh, juicy acidity. Great energy.

Wow, this is a really beautiful Cabernet Franc. Very characterful and full of density, without undue weight, and nuance. A great deal too for $20, and still has some time ahead of it; just approaching peak drinking.

Red fruit (cherry, raspberry), pepper, slight earth, spice, floral. Good acidity. Bright. Feel like this could use some more time.

2.5 hour decant. Garnet robe. Pale almost transparent pink rim. Nose has red fruit pastille and savoury notes. A juicy wine that blooms with soft mid-palate acidity and finishes medium/short with a strawberry flourish, following through on a herbs and strawberry taste. A polished wine.

Bright floral nose with notes of corn cob and strawberries. Light acid fruit on the palate with a firm tannic underpinning, rising sweet fruit at the back, acid finish with a tannic bite. Delicious and fresh. 50 + 16 + 16 + 7 = 89.

Beautiful earthy nose. Taste is surprisingly light; fruitier that it smells. Fresh and elegant.

couple hr decant, this showed the younger side of tannin/acid and fruit being a bit darker than say young Nerello Mascarello. Otherwise quite in a same style. Certainly enjoyable but so young and crunchy fruit. Will wait 3 to 5 years.

deep,; touch of brett, graceful nose; shouts out Cab Franc, polished fruit, soft tannins. Graceful finish. For mid term drinking.

On the rhubarb spectrum of red fruit and a little lean on the palate for me. Fine enough with food but not enough complexity on it's own. Has a nice aromatic nose.

Nice wine - fresh and clean nose of dark fruits with a muskiness laced throughout. Nose and palate both are very gentle, almost too gentle. This is one of those wines that is of good quality and that I like a lot, but that I'm not sure justifies its price when compared with other options in the Loire Cab Franc landscape today.

11.5% from a cooler year Should breath for 1 hr but this is freshly opened Clay soil with yellow limestone base Kirsch, macerated cherry, blood orange, more concentrated fruit, lovely fruit, tannins coat the mouth, very young and tight, even an hour decanted doesn't really open this up, leave in the cellar for around 5 years and will last for 15 probably more

Pop and poured. At B&B PP. Drank over 2 hours and later in the night under vacuum seal. Appearance is clear, medium intensity, purple colour. Thin legs, Nose medium+ intensity. Initially some reduction which blew off to reveal earth, crushed stone minerality, floral violets, blackberry, black cherry, tobacco leaf. Mild elements of brett with more air. Youthful. On the palate, dry, very high acidity, medium- alcohol (11.5% only!), medium- tannins, medium body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of blueberries, blackberries, …

Visit at Domaine Baudry : Very low alcohol :11.5%. Superb freshness. Fresh acid cherry with some salinity ( clams?). Already good accessible Chinon. Matthieu talked about a naked wine, showing the minerals of the soil(limestone) because of the 2013 vintage. Lovely.
