Really starting to bloom. Surprisingly lovely on all fronts. Rich, complex, but still with the Burgundian quality of weightless minerality. One of the better white burg QPRs I've had.

This wine continues to evolve -- it's leesy, with golden delicious apples, apricots and mineral salts. Very enjoyable.

Acacia flowers, lemon zest, apple blossoms and honey comb. Intense and silken on the palate, good weight but more than anything it's very directional. A round, tube like weight on the middle of my palate, assertive. It has gained a bit complexity since last I tasted it, and it seems longer. I love the direction it's going in, but I don't think you should be in any hurry to drink these up. At least five more years until it peaks.

Interesting reading my last note from only a few months ago, because my strong impression this time is of lemon, lemon pith and mineral salts. I am not getting more than a hint of green apple out of it. Good, but a different impression for me than then last couple of bottles.

Knightsbridge Annual Holiday Burgundy/Champagne Tasting and Sale (Northbrook, IL) : Tasting, brief note. Slightly ripe and forward that starts forward and fun, then finishes with moderate energy. Certainly good for the near-term.

Similar impressions as the last bottle. Lime, citrus, green apple, good acidity, salty, and just a hint of butterscotch on the finish. We both enjoyed it.

Very fresh citrus nose with a touch of new wood and white flowers. Light to medium palate that is slightly oily with good acidity balance. Medium finish with minerals, a very nicely made 2011 white and even better for the price. An interesting note is, Mr Lafon prefers his 2011 over his 2010.

The Wines of Heritiers du Comte Lafon and Daniel Barraud (Bistro 7 (7 N. 3rd St., Philadelphia)) : Mouthwatering and juicy. The acidity here is more refined and the fruit is there. A bit on subtle, shy side ride now. Everything is well balanced, and the finish is nice.
