Well, on this last of 4 bottles, I can say that my inclination back in 2018 that this isn't really an ager was apparently wrong, as it's drinking well tonight and almost has a youthful constitution. Nose of plum, cranberry, strawberry, potpourri, lemon, and orange peel, bit of crushed rocks on it too. Transparent ruby to garnet, more towards the latter. Aromas of cherry, plum, tar, lemon, orange peel, tobacco, and a bit of herbs. Medium body, acid, and finish, with flavors of high toned red fruits like cherry and cranberry, orange peel, dry spices, and a little mineral. This is such a surprisingly great wine - especially for the $. I have had 4 bottles now over the past few months and havn't written any tasting notes previously. A very nice surprise. A big, juicy, fruity, yet earthy Pinot Noir. Medium dark red with ripe cherries, flowers, dirt and a hint of moss. A full, long finish complements this great wine. Along with red berry there is mint and herbs. Crisp, fresh and all one would expect from a good pinot.
