Very floral nose, with hints of dark fruit and spice. Ripe plums, dark cherries and even a little cranberry on the palate, followed by spicey pepper and an unexpected smokiness. Not nearly in your face as Cali Zins, this is closer to medium bodied and very balanced. I would recommend.

Cathedral Ridge Winery Tasting (Thirst Wine Bar) : Nice and fruity, good body. I'm not really a Zin fan, so this one may be lost on me. Likeable though.
