Zaca Mesa Grenache

Medium body, ruby red, anise and raspberry on the nose and the palate. Nice extended finish with a touch of sour cherry.

When first opened, I got a lot of smokiness on the palate, and not a lot of fruit came through. But after about 45 minutes, there was some nice red fruit, especially raspberry, came through. Others noted some peppery spice. Very nice.
