Popped and poured at a little colder than cellar temp. Nice nose of strawberry greens, limestone and lemon oil. Even nicer on the palate. A viscous texture, with nice tingly spicy attack, notes of herbs, lemons and peaches. Really crisp, acidic and mineral filled finish. A pleasant surprise to have such a lovely (and affordable) Chardonnay from Piedmont.

Thanksgiving week in Piemonte; 11/22/2019-11/30/2019 (Milan, Barolo, Alba, Barbaresco) : Tasted at the winery. 100% Stainless Steel vilification. Very fresh and bright - seemingly more in the Chablis style - clean, sharp and mineral - weightless feeling on the palate. Nice way to start the tasting.
