Soft, rounded tannins with black fruit, full bodied without bite. 2 hour decant and tannins softened over the evening.

Two and a half hour decant. Deep and very dark magenta color. Bright black cherry, dark chocolate chunk cookie, blackberry, and jasmine. Silky smooth, dry, full bodied, slightly grippy palate. Firm, full tannins on the longish finish. This is one of the better Napa ‘18s I’ve had. This is one of the lowest priced Nigel Kinsman reds out there. This still showed a touch of tightness. I hope to wait another year for the next bottle.

soft round with traces of its tannic backbone fruit darting in and out all evening; a little sweeter at first then dark and tart by the end went well with steaks at N.Y. Prime in Boca

Three hour decant. Very very dark magenta color. Black cherry, blackberry, milk chocolate, orange rind, raw almond, and subtle apple peel. Dry, chalky palate, with tongue coating acidity. Firm, grippy tannins on the long finish. This is demure and tight, but very engaging nonetheless. This needs another year to loosen up and I expect it to be great. There’s not necessarily potential in my score.

young but not infanticide I am liking this modern california cab style without the fruit bomb aspects of 10-20 yrs ago harsh tannins settled down in 45 min fruit is expressive but will evolve with some cellar aging time liked by all at Pixca blind tasting interesting to compare to 3 other 2018 cabs brought tonite I liked the Accendo the best

One hour decant. Very very deep electric magenta color. Ripe mixed berry, bay leaf, and subtle coffee and dark chocolate on the nose. Very smooth, dry full bodied palate. Plush, low intensity tannins on the medium long finish. 80% CS, 10% CF, 10% Merlot The rating is based on potential. This has all the raw materials, but needs time to fill out.
