medium purple colour. very expressive aromas and flavours of black plum, blueberry and blackberry accented with vanilla, toast, new leather, fresh herbs and violets. in mouth it is dry; high acidity and corresponding grippy tannins frame the plus body of juicy fruit with subtle veins of accents. finishes long. 13.5% AbV; all Malbec from Paraje Altamira, in the southern reaches of the Uco Valley; fermentation in small vessels; maturation in French oak barrels (both new and used) for thirteen months.

Nice Argentinian Malbec. Very mild. Old world wine. I like it 👏 Dark red purple non-transparent color. Full to medium body. Medium acidity. Soft tanines, pretty smooth, nice structure 👏 Nicely aromatic, barrels, black fruits, terroir, spices 👏 Sane mixture on the palate, blackberries, plum, blueberries, oak, vanilla, coconut, milk chocolate, leather, mushrooms, earthy, ginger, licorice, anise 👏🍷👏 Very nice wine, mild and harmonic wine and a great VFM 👏🍷👏🍷

Behöver luftas en bra stund för att göra sig bäst. Eldig och råa tanniner i början men rundas av snabbt och fin frukt kommer fram med en hint av fat som hänger kvar i munnen. Bra typisk Malbec.

Bursting with ripe blueberries, plum and blackberries

I would like to do a blind tasting with this wine. For $16 a bottle it is going to surprise a lot of people when they unwrap the brown bag.

Trevligt! Stiligt, rent och ganska simpelt men frukten hänger kvar bra i avslutet med hint av choklad som kryddar. Inga tanniner eller syra att snacka om men balanserad kropp ändå som levererar.

Excellent Malbec. Bright fruit, modest tannins, finishes with cherry and a hint of blackberry. Definitely going to grab it again.
