Light Ruby in color starting to pale around the edges with 8 years of age. Red fruit (raspberry and cherry) on the nose with a hint of pepper and mint. Grape and red fruit with a slightly bitter but moderate finish. Light bodied. Light tannins. Good with mild cheeses, fish, chicken. Low acidity. Probably won’t age we’ll much longer.

Consistent with previous bottles. Medium ruby in color, this wine revealed raspberry, wood smoke and strawberry on the nose. The mouth feel was medium bodied with added notes of cherry cola and dried herbs. The finish was well balanced with excellent levels of juicy, bright acidity and subtle elements of spices and pepper. 14.3% abv. Purchased for $20US, this was a delicious offering that easily drinks above its price point. I thoroughly enjoyed all 6 bottles I purchased.

Light to medium bodied Pinot with cherry notes and lingering finish. Color is ruby red with a bit of tawny tinge to it. Drinkable right after popping open. I like this style as well as slightly Fuller bodied pinots from SLH, which isn't too far away from this appellation.

Faint nose with a classic "cherry coke" kind of bouquet. Pretty color, rich red with pink rim. Nothing amazing, but it paired nicely with Coq Au Vin over egg noodles.

Pretty medium red garnet. Darker than most pinots. Nose of a Mexican laundry room: fruity alcohol.... The pinot earthiness is there, but it is well hidden until allowed to breath a bit. Mouth is thin, with overripe strawberries and blackberries. A cheap whore of a drinkable Pinot.

First off, i would have guessed, tasting blind, this as a cali pinot. leans much more old world in style. i found the nose a bit muted, plenty of red fruit, some dirt, but the alcohol was a bit noticeable to me. decant--needs a few hours to open up.

Certainly not as bad as the WS81 rating. This wine benefits from a lengthy decant; give it at least an hour. Nose kicks off with wild strawberry and raspberry, red apple skin, and a nice powdery texture to the nose. Palate has soft red berries and subtly sweet overtones up front, with earthy potting soil and leathery aspects picking up later. Light- to medium-bodied, high acidity. As mentioned, keeps improving with time in the decanter.
