Very nice. Plenty of fruit. Balanced. Not near end of its life. $18.

This is a hearty and inviting Beaujolais Cru that seemed to improve after the first day. It takes on the flavor of dark berries--blueberries and blackberries--in a juicy liquid. I like it but not as much as some other vintages of the same wine.

Red fruit on the front end, transitioning to notes of oak and herbs. 12.5% ABV. Didn't leave a strong impression. Nothing wrong with it, but nothing stood out either.

First bottle of this case was oxidized, second bottle was corked, so I went straight back in to open another bottle tonight... Finally, this one is perfect. The color is quite dark for a Beaujolais, and the wine is quite thick. The nose is very intense, showing this crazy, thick viscous intensity to the fruit... this aroma has a texture in a weird way, like gritty clay. The predominant aroma has red berries (strawberry skin) and rose hips. Smells very …

First bottle opened from a solid case, and first bottle consumed in 11 years. Wine was completely and horribly oxidized. I suspect a one off flawed bottle. Will open another very soon and expect a better showing. Weird.

Pretty little wine, juicy, with raspberries, violets, and flaky minerality. A joy to drink and in a very appealing state.

Lovely, mature bojo that still features red fruit but is enrobed in secondary soft goodness.

Last bottle. Structure softening but so is the fruit. Drank alongside the ‘20 which was sooo fruit laden. Drink up I think.

My last one. Cork wad pretty decent, slightly infiltrated. Good acid still, bright, cherry, but not heavy, very nice. Really active in the mouth. Color is that of translucent ruby but a dirty ruby. fruit still decent, very cherry and tart. Had with bbq chicken and although it was okay, not the best pairing with this food. Feel like this was ready now. Someone said these gamay wines shouldn't be aged, but this one decent with 10 years. Good light …

Beaujolais with some bottle age - totally delicious. Tannins are muted if almost gone. Very very dry. Light but not too light. Delicious, ripe, almost roasted or sun baked red raspberries, with orange peel. I like it a lot. Very interesting and totally delicious bottle. Would go back to this all day long and not hesitate to give similar bottle age to other Beaujolais to see how they develop.

Definitely showing its age and not at all unique. It opened up after a while, but still nothing to write home about.

At peak. PNP and paired with grilled Arctic Char - Light red color with strong gradient from rim to center. On nose, strawberry, wet rocks, tart cherry and earth/mushrooms. Palate was more fruit oriented (strawberry, cranberry) with some nice minerality. Medium body, medium acidity, integrated tannins (still there) and medium finish. Enjoyable if in the mood for a lighter bodied wine. Excellent QPR. 90+/-

Bright, crunchy red fruit and dark cola bean. Tastes much younger than its 10 years. This is quite good but not sure it is/was worth cellaring. It was good out of the gate and hasn’t really developed much in the nuances age can bring. Still a buyer of the wine though. An agreeable and versatile table wine.

Nice texture and flavor profile, with cranberries and dried strawberries and some wood. But very clean and bright, not weak or sour at all. Very good over two nights, but best on second.

Unfortunately, this is still shut down and completely hollow on the palate, but the nose and finish make it enjoyable. Bitters, spices, licorice, and tart rhubarb. Drink after 2020. Technical score: 89. Enjoyment score: 88.

A little less impressed than I was a year ago. Tasting more Gamay-ish and just a little watery, as if some of the must were taken away. It certainly has its place at the table, but not with anything bold that would overshadow it. Fully blind, I would probably guess this as a rose'. Worked fine with a juicy pork tenderloin that was heavy on rosemary. 4+10+15+7= 86

A serious tart, cranberry and granite infused wine, but the tannins are still quite prominent. Perhaps I should have decanted more. This could definitely evolve in the bottle as it was still quite youthful and fresh.

Was very dry upon opening. Dryness hid the fruit. Wasn't until day 2-3 that the wine presented its complete self. It was then very decent and the dryness tapered off. A very decent food wine that would have paired well with stews and roasts due to the tannins. Having tried a bottle of Brouilly several years back, I was on the fence if it and Gamay were for me, but i like it better after having this wine. Not for …

Opened off the pop and pour and consumed with cajun turkey and fixings. Took about an hour or so to really open up so recommend decanting. Bright ruby with crimson tones. Tart nose of cranberries and dried herbs. The palate is medium-light, jagged, and tight, with sour cherries, raspberries, hints of blackberries, sour apples, and grilled mushrooms into the finish, which is hard and juicy with strong tannins. There is an attractive savory/funky/barnyard streak in this wine that grounds it …

PNP. Color dark ruby. Nose has sappy cranberry fruit. Palate on the light side with prominent structure. I don't think that the fruit will outlive the structure and don't intend to find out. Will drink remainder soon.

Notes after a few hours of slow-O. Bright red ruby color, about 50% saturated with quick, clear legs and no sediment. Cinnamon Red Hots and floral notes in the aroma and maybe a complimentary touch of volatile acidity. Soft and gentle attack on the palate that builds up flavor as you swish and swallow. None of the terrible green astringency that often pervades low end Gamay. Very light tannins and a good acidic foundation that lays the groundwork for future …

Drinking very well right now. There is some minor notes of earth that you get from an aged wine now. This is an absolutely fantastic QPR. The fruit is still present, but it is well balanced. This was my last bottle, and I wish I had more. These wines are great with a few years on them.

Opened and decanted about 20-min ahead of a mixed dinner of leftovers and other fixings. Served slightly chilled. Gorgeous, cloudy violet color. Nose also brings a lot of violets, along with hints of roses, wildflowers, strawberries, and funky herbs. The palate is hard, square, tart, and tight, but it brings nice strawberries, crushed rocks, and dried herbs into the finish, which is still thick with sharp elbows. Has great potential but still needs a few years to settle down and …
