Expressive bouquet with cherries and minerals and a sweet touch. On the palate a juicy wine with dark berries, cherries, good acidity, some bitterness as well as sweetness. Round, still powerful tannin. In its young maturity stage and with some air time a tasteful and delicious wine. Wait a few more years. 92 - 93

4th Saturday Brown Bagger (J&S’s) : Nonblind with dinner. Pepper and dark fruit notes. Full-bodied and well-balanced with a long finish dominated by dark fruit and spice. Lovely. (J&S)

WOW, very black and cold nose of black berries, violette, coffee, black olives... Delicious black blueberries, black olives, delicious ripe tannin, nice acidity.

Lush and smoky, with layers of creamy black fruits, the wine is richly textured, concentrated, long and spicy with more of those sweet creamy fruits on the mid-palate and in the peppery finish.

Not great to my taste, past it’s best. Very heavy sediment. Was my last bottle thankfully.

Dark garnet. Classic northern Rhône Syrah with bottle age - bramble, cassis, black pepper, black olive, leather, smoke. Developing. Dry, fresh acidity, fine medium tannins, high acidity and full body but very well integrated, medium+ finish. Very good quality. Can be drunk now but has the fruit and structure to continue to develop. Personally I like the balance of primary and tertiary fruit now.

Still relatively youthful colour. Dark fruit - cassis, bramble, pepper, leather, tapindade, hint of herbs. Developing. Medium+ fine tannins well integrated, high alcohol but doesn’t stick out at all, full body. Medium+ finish. This has plenty of life left in it. No hurry to drink and may develop further tertiary complexity. Very good quality.

post CDV Opaque et trouble, bord encore assez jeune sans trop d'évolution. Nez serré, solaire, concentré (cassis terne, violette, cuir, discrète olive noire), un peu terne à mon sens, un peu strict; ces impressions reviennent en bouche, ou il se montre compacte et strict: l'attaque est presque douce, ample, mais tout de suite il resserre et rafraîchit. Besoin d'air! En fait, je ne sais pas dire s'il est au top de sa forme ou s'il evoluera favorablement, car c'est un …

Dark fruit, menthol, big nose. Smooth, dark cassis, long bright fruit, tannins nicely integrated. Simple and lovely.

Dark fruit, tapenade, smooth, spivey and lively, long. Drinking beautifully on 2nd night.

Dark fruit and cloves on nose. Smooth, bright red fruit dark backing, strong tannic structure, medium to long. Very classy modern wine.
