Pale green straw, with notable legs. Greengage fruit on the nose: quite rich with a cashew nuttiness. Very good palate. It's not exactly rich, but there none of the austerity that's often found in cheaper GrüVs. Feels a bit sur lie. Nice bite. Needs not to be served too cold. Worked reasonably well with a game pithivier, but excellently with French onion soup.
