Mortimers Shiraz Chestnut Garth

Light bodied, almost pinot like without the complexity. Dark red fruit, blackcurrent a slight touch of liquorice. No oak evident. Definitely needs a decant & time to open up. On first tasting straight after opening I was not impressed, however on my second glass I can see some improvement and potential, with me going back with each sip. Also increasing my score from 88 to 90. I believe won’t improve, however no hurry to drink.
