Beautiful wine. Smooth, light, still with some fruit and a great smell.

Opened 2 hrs, decanted and left for 30 mins. Drunk over 4 hours. Mid-dark colour with some fading at rim, no bricking. Nose of cab sauv fruits followed by a strong mocha aroma and tendrils of smoke. Developing pencil box traces over the course of the evening, mocha stays and joined by some eucalyptus. Fruit holds up and has a great balance of acidity, which provides the spine and tannins, which started too dry but became more integrated. The nose …
