Pierre Boisson Meursault

Still very good, bruised apple, citrus, good acidity, devellopement offcourse, golden in colour, bur still lively and fresh.

rich and wide with strong shoulders, but needs some decanting to open and deliver its potential

Lithe, crystalline, etched lemon rinds and daffodil blossoms. Severe, mineral, lemony attack, quite dry and borderline shrill, but the finish sweeps in and saves the day with some needed glycerin and dry extract. Long and tangy finish. Perhaps better a few years ago, this is something and in a style hard to find (impossible?) outside of Bourgogne. For the sheer intensity, I have to go to 92 pts. Searing.

Excellent. Good balance and nicely integrated fruit.

Réductive on the nose. Not very well balanced, high acidity, alcohol and oak are evident

Reductive upon opening which lasted for a good 3 hours. Sharp acidity. Nose had gunflint and grapefruit. Slightly alcoholic and woody finish.

Pop and pour. These bottles have been fairly good for the price. Nice golden Meursault flavor. Slightly oaky, well-integrated right now. I'm sad to have drank my last bottle.

Wirklich ein toller Meursault! Von nichts zu viel oder zu wenig! Schöner Trinkfluss! Sehr elegant. Bestimmt noch 2-3 Jahre auf diesem Niveau! Sehr sehr lecker!!! 91-92 P

Monthly Tasting Group: Blind Pinots Worldwide (The Dakota, Mpls, MN) : This was pretty lean and minerally, some oak, with a distinct matchstick character on the palate/finish, a bit sharper, but mostly clean. 89-90pts.

Almond, caramel, Nice long finish. True and excellent meursault.
