A Portuguese wine called “Imprevisto”(unexpected) Produced and bottled by Convento do Paraiso, LDA. Bottle says 2015. The cork says 2016 - anyone else notice this?? Nevertheless, a tasty wine and very good value. Fruity and plummy on the nose, with tobacco notes. A round, mid-to-heavyweight body full of generous red and black fruit , with a soft finish. It would need a little more structure to get a higher score...

Deep ruby color, dark berry fruit, round in the mouth, a touch sharp on the finish. Love love love me these Portuguese wines, more so at the price.
