Drank over two days, more subdued on Day 2. Decanted. Mature, leading with almost “Bretty” earth tones along with dried and cooked red fruits. Integrated and balanced. Medium finish.

Love the wine, but the bottle enjoyed earlier in the year was better, primarily because of the food pairing. This particular bottle was enjoyed with light snacks.

Agree with WmMcCone, except that thisbwine is drinking really well on its own as well. Not that I’d say no to a ribeye…

Enjoyed at a Father’s Day gathering. I’ve enjoyed a number of previous vintages of this label and find they drink best between 5-12 years. This particular bottle showed very ripe black and red fruits, excellent integration, good balance, and a medium finish. Lots of juicy upfront fruits, with a structure which is supportive, but for how much longer remains uncertain. The grilled ribeyes, mushrooms, corn on the cob, and Brussels sprouts really enhanced the success of this wine today. Drink …

Bottle aged soft tones of the CS/Mer/CF blend with an initial ink note that evolves as the cab franc character moves out in front; shows balanced acidity and tannins. Further aging not needed but this could hold here for 3-6 more years.

This was much better than my last bottle, with sweet red fruits dominating but a backbone giving behind it giving the wine good depth.

Very tight, acidic, and closed on day 1. Significantly better on day 2, with berry, mineral, and acid mixing together nicely as a food friendly wine. Last glass on day 4 held together pretty well.

Great with a steak, great sipping, tannins softened, nice fruit, a bit of secondary notes, not terribly complex, but very pleasant ....

Drank with family this weekend. Recall very plummy nose on the pop and pour that gave it a sense of age. With air the nose expanded and gained complexity. The palate was very plush. Lots of good fruit. Good length. It was better on day two. Would buy again.

damn good bottle of wine. lots of red fruit on the nose and palate and some leathery/tobacoo notes as well. the finish was fantastic. one long zinngggggg that just kept going and going. the only knock on it was that it was just a little bit hot.

Popped and poured… Cote Bonneville Carriage house is 63% Cabernet Sauvignon and 37% Merlot. It’s been a year since I had this wine, and I had forgotten what a treat it is! Color: Dark garnet in the glass. Aroma: This vintage truly jumps out of the glass with scents of strawberry jam, plums, raspberries and a hint of rhubarb. Tasting notes: This wine is seven and one half years old now and is really a delicious blend! Very fruit-driven, exhibiting …

Dark. Dark fruits. Rather fat. Lacks grip, complexity and life on the palate.

77% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Cabernet Franc, 10% Merlot from DuBrul Vineyard. Very dark, almost black. Amazingly floral nose with blackberry and blueberry fruits and lots of spicy pepper notes. On the palate, very structured, with big blackberry and black pepper flavors. Very full and lush in the mouth. Just an amazing Bordeaux blend from WA state!

The 2002 Carriage House is estate grown by DuBrul Vineyard's. the wine exhibits remarkable clarity in its deep purple color. Aromas and flavors of bright cherry and black raspberry are accented by vanilla with hints of cocoa and cinnamon lingering on the finish. Attractive balance. This wine will only get better with age.
