Fresh strawberries and raspberries on the nose with a touch of earthiness. Maybe mushroom? Deep garnet ruby in color. Clear. Palate follows the nose, with a fresh acidity that balances the tannins (med-). Has good depth of flavor, and a lingering finish. Happily would drink again.

Nice with cherry, chalk, plum, floral and earth. Medium plus finish. Solid.

Pours deep ruby with just a tinge of purple, darker than usual Beaujolais. Nose is complex with cranberry, strawberry, soil, and faint mushroom. Very balanced on the palate with medium acidity, moderate tannins, flavors follow the nose. Overall a really excellent cru Beaujolais, ageable.
