Light yellow color. Young, fresh and very clear and precise nose, slightly spicy, curry and Kurkuma, slightly earthy. In the mouth, it has laser like acidity, but enough structure to integrate the acidity, overall rather light though, tight, detailed finish. Excellent and well aged.

Solid as usual. This is consistenly better, and with more complexity, than Ammonites from the same producer.

P&p. Complex aromas along the lines of baked apple, butter, lemon peel, flowers, mown grass, and earth; fresh; appetizing; nice touch of savoriness, but not overtly oxidative. On the palate, terrific fresh tart acidity brings everything together; silky texture, approaching full bodied, and richly flavored, but lifted by the acidity and fresh citrus and floral notes so it stays almost weightless. The balance, freshness, and moreish savory element combine to make this extremely drinkable. Drinking very well, but seems like …

Golden color. Tropical fruit and melon notes in the smell. Bright and enticing. Taste adds some spice and minerality/earthiness. Quite enjoyable.

Combination of fresh minerals and cirtus with loads of honey. Nice mouthfeel and good balance with high acidity. Buronfosse delivers once again.

Jura tasting with Wink Lorch (Maison Vauron, Auckland, New Zealand) : touch of old oak. sour apples. hint of the Jura oxi/cut on nose. a wine driven by acidity, this shows wonderful balance, a steely minerality and a creamy finish. Certainly showing better than the "entre deux" 2001, tonight.

Pears, green apples, lemon and lime. Soft and easy, not aggressive in any way. On the palate there’s yellow crisp apples and a finish with limejuice. Medium acidity and a short afterrtaste. Not complex but very drinkable.

This kept on getting better and better over the days it was open, improving aromatically and in texture. Very saline on day one, more of a balancing act between salinity and butteriness on day two, and by day three those two qualities were in perfect accord, when the wine had a lovely apple blossom scent and silken texture.

Light yellow. Pear and herbs (tarragon mostly) in the nose, some saffran. Quite linear. Chalky acidity in the mouth, great brightness, very direct, medium body, salty in the finish. Very well done.

Medium yellow. You can sense very light oxidative notes - some nuts, dried fruit, but also fresh notes of September apples. Linear and compact in the mouth, good acidity, minerally, long finish. Also very good.
