rather dark but fruity wine with excellent balance. A bit of perfume but otherwise good backbone and body. Nice effort. can be drunk now but can also be aged 3-4 more years.

Purple and yet clear. Fabulous nose of red and black cherries, currant and wet leaves, smoke and stone. Soft tones in the mouth very elegant and good balance between raspberries, cherries and the wet forest floor. Very good!

A nose of nice thick dark berries and loamy earth. I was getting Pinot-like black cherry notes. Medium-bodied. Cherry and raspberry flavors. Really firm acidity and decent tannic structure. Good balance.

Austria (Wine Exchange in Orange, CA) : Slightly dulled reddish violet. Smoke, graphite, and subtle vegetal suggestions on the easygoing nose. More restrained flavors, but nice elegance of texture and substantial acidity, with a so-so finish.
