Fruit forward with a good kick of pepper, it didn't really taste like it was roughly seven years old. Very well balanced overall, and not a fruit bomb as so many Washington Malbecs can be. Probably would drink well through 2020.

Restaurant...Popped and poured. Nose of cigar tobacco, peppers and under ripe plum. Tart and spicy on the palate. Paired well with duck breast and scallops. Would purchase again.

We opened a bottle wnd drank it immediately without decanting, etc. It was very tasty with a deep flavor that included some spice and earth.

Tasted with the 2006 and doesn't show well in comparison. Off a little with more tannin but a sour/off note too. Tasted at winemaker dinner at Matts in the Market.
