Piero Mancini Vermentino di Gallura Brut

The sparkling version of Mancini's Vermentino di Gallura. I am bit partial to Vermentino, one of my favorite grapes, but I really like this wine. It reminds a bit of a well made Prosecco in its apple, pear and stone fruit character. There is just a hint of the typical Vermentino herbal side, accompanied by a refreshing stony minerality.
