It's a very good Argentinian wine. Has the typical full body powerful element, but at the same time the tannins are soft and it's not overly taken by oak. Fruity and well balanced actually. Ready to drink, perfect with a stake.

Nicely defined rich and complex fruit on the nose - very inviting, great aroma; sumptuous ripe fruit, refreshing acidity, this is a lovely drop of red. Great mouthfeel and spread across the palate. Hard to spit!

Drunk from magnum. Good, brambly, inky, mineral nose - plenty of plums and damsons, as befits the 87 per cent Malbec core. Balance of 13 per cent Cabernet Sauvignon is virtually undetectable on the nose, though there may be some aromatic overlap - some mild notes of cedarwood and cassis. Silky, but svelte on the palate, with juicy acidity and some plumpness, perhaps buttressed by the aforesaid Cab. Sauv. Overall very enjoyable, especially with steak, but a tad anonymous and …
