Color: Dark Plum rich looking color Nose: Dark Cherry, Plum, Leather & hints of Tobacco Palate: Licourice, Cherries, soft tannis, medium bodied with a short finish Decanting: Open Poured through a Vinturi and drank. Other Notes: This wine is nearly the end of life. Do not hold this much longer. Plenty of flavor in the front and left us wanting more in the back.

Couldn't agree less with previous posters. Gnarly Head is a great cali merlot for the price. Hints of dark fruits and chocolates on the mouth. A smooth backend with a resonable finish. I always want to open a second bottle.

Not so nice aroma. This is too many different vineyards blended together with a mass produced wine. They took a good year and good region and ended up with bland taste and dry with no fruit coming through.

Fruity nose; Smooth. Blackberry, blueberry, mint, vanilla. Cork sucks. Pairs well with chocolate, cheese and peppery crackers.
