Ripe and big fruit aromas and flavors with plenty of berry and orchard fruit character. Good+ weight, and also good finesse. Still nicely fresh as well.

Both Pinot Noir and Chardonnay strut their stuff nicely here. Ripe berries and apple with very good concentration. Good finesse and textures. Best now through the next few years.

Drank at WWS tasting. Earthy pinot nose, along with some toasty notes. Medium weight, fairly crisp acidity. Bread, yeast, some minerality. Very long, but slightly bitter finish.

Best bottle of the lot. Mature, creamy, good mousse, medium body and medium finish. Very nice for the money.

Ripe and powerful apple with subtle berry notes, this shows both its Chardonnay and Pinot Noir character nicely. Fresh and energetic, I enjoyed this a lot tonight, but expect it to be better several years from now.

Delicious. Hasn't aged a day. Bright and crisp - more of a blanc de blancs profile than a standard brut. Fleshes out with a nice bit of creaminess which gives it a very easygoing texture. Not much to say about it but very enjoyable.

Apple-y but refined, with a zip of citrus acidity and chalkiness to balance out the rich flavors. Nice bottle.

Disgorged Feb 05, 2010 On the nose there are light notes of yeast, pastry dough, lemon and a bit of caramel. On the palate the light yeasty dough flavors continue, nice contrast with the sharp citrus and apple notes, good crisp acidity and nutty finish. Keep cold, if warmed (sitting in glass to long, not cold enough) a bitter note develops on finish.

Turning apple-y and is mature. I'm drinking now, but may save a bottle to see where it goes long term.

Quite nice with light toastiness on the nose and lemon/green apple notes on palate. Hardly seems to have been aged.

Leo Turns 60! (It's Greek To Me) : From magnum. No notes taken, but this showed really well. Not quite as good as the Dom, but close.

Crisp, yeasty citrus touch of maturity on the nose but still fresh. Drink or hold.

Not showing a bit of age. Lemon and apple on the bright nose. We should have decanted because as the wine opened up later, it showed some nice sweet meatiness what reminded me of the fat layer on aged Jamon Iberico.

nose: pretty and aromatic nose filled with tones of green apples, pears, minerals, white fruits and a touch of honey and warm breads taste: medium bodied with medium/high acidity and very good tones of green apples, pears, white fruits, some florals and bits of honey on the back end overall: this bottle is showing a slight bit more maturity than before and it's still delicious. This has a lighter gold color right now and can certainly age some more

Yeasty nose of sourdough, some bruised apples; juicy apple carries over into the mouth, which is rich and mature; touch of honey-nut sweetness toward the end, with long finish that hints of stones, but lacks the minerality I was expecting.

Champagne neophyte so not much to add beyond the TNs below. Nice bubbles. Green apples and hint of citrus. Crisp but balanced with nice body. Medium finish so clean and delicious. This is awfully good, would buy again. 92+(?).

Dark golden hue w/ strong nut aroma on 1st sip which became integrated air. Agree w/ the comments on the oxidative nature. Light bready-yeast on the nose and palate but mostly crisp granny smith apples. Nice and light on the palate with a creamy texture. Nice for $37 clams.
