Chateau Liouner, Listrac-Medoc

Decanted for about 30 mins. Yes, nice cassis on the nose, some fruit on the palate, good tannins. I felt that this was quite ok, nothing stellar, just fine to drink with food. Did have typical bordeauxness, just wasn't above average.

Decanted for an hour or so. Initially quite tight, but opened up after some airtime. The colour is beautiful, an aged garnet red with an orange rim. The nose is subtle yet enticing, vanillin cassis with a nice touch of leather. The palate was initially quite astringent, dry red cherries, and this remains with some airtime, seems to be past its prime, the fruit is drying up.
