This is a really fun blend, with some italian varietals (Sangiovese and Dolcetto) with Rhone (Syrah and Grenache). Just loved this little blend. Nice color. Nose of crushed cranberry/cherry, with baking spice. The mouthfeel is juicy, but balanced. Definitely a dry wine, but with a great fruit profile. Balanced.

Kept its flavor and structure over 3 days. Quite complex with nice coffee notes on the finish. Drinks much better than its' price.

Similar to last, but I had to score a bit better. Higher fruit content to my palate, which paired well with the meal of grilled meat and veggies. This combination seems to work so well with this blend of red berry fruit and some savory herbs. It has an earthy quality that leaps from the glass, but an off-dry finish that makes it a boon with home-style food. Try it!

Pop an pour. First night, this was smooth and full flavored. Good red berry fruits with some Rhubarb. Has some nice length, and secondary notes of veggies and brown butter. Second night, it had lost some of the fruit, and gained a tartness. This is a bottle to drink now, and enjoy on the first sitting.

Pop and pour through a vinturi. Dark red in color. Red fruit, vanilla and smoke on the nose. Well balanced taste of sweetness and smokiness. Medium body. Mild tannins. Short finish. Good everyday blend of 56% Syrah, 34% Mourvedre, 10% Merlot. Look forward to sharing another bottle with friends, because of the unique location of this winery, and the unusual balance and good qpr.
