Although I found this wine to be terribly hot on the nose, making it difficult to sniff the fruit (dark fruit), no worries! I really liked it, so much so that I felt that I had to comment on it. It is a nice, mouth-coating, teeth-staining, full-bodied red, and the alcohol is so well-integrated into the wine that the high alcohol level of it (they have got to be kidding about the 14% on the bottle :-) does not appear …

I had a bottle of Killibinbin 02 Shiraz from Langhorne Creek last night and this bottle tonight. Overall, both wines are excellent. I preferred the former, but this one is worthy of purchase.

A ripe, floral nose eases into plum and blackberry on the palate. It pushes the sweetness envelope a bit, and the alcohol seems higher than 14%, but it's pretty tasty for only $14.
