Beautiful wine, characterized by drinkability and freshness, with a light ruby red color and great transparency. On the nose, it releases aromas of red fruits, currants, wild strawberries, and a lovely citrus note of fresh blood orange. There is also a pleasant floral hint of iris and violet. On the palate, it has a medium body and velvety, almost imperceptible tannins. Great freshness and sapidity with a medium-long finish.

Update to my previous note - decanted again for an hour and it’s not underripe at all, it’s a very good wine. It’s just not as great a wine as the 19 for example, which has a density of aroma and flavor that this wine doesn’t match. But this is lovely, lighter, and still perfumed and delicious. It thins a bit on the finish.

Decanted for maybe 45 mins before drinking. The nose is lovely and typical with bright high-toned cranberry, red currant, raspberry, leafy, and cinnamon scents. It’s a somewhat complex and enticing nose that screams drinkability. And the wine is drinkable - fresh and clean and vibrant. But it’s also a bit dilute and underripe, and this is especially evident on the finish, where the tannins show underripe and stemmy. This is what the vintage gave, and it’s not a great vintage …
