Big, juicy fruit. Simple and enjoyable. No tannins to speak of. Very good value for the price point. Opened this to go with a late night snack of tomato bruschetta and Genoa salami and it was a delightful match. Manage your expectations and you'll be delighted.

Medium ruby in the glass, light nose bit hot at first with muted fruits, palate is well balanced with notes of cassis, cherry, licorice and wood. Nice mid palate tannin/acid hit provides some structure. Finish is a bit stingy, overall fantastic value wine.
