Cork still firm and hard. Deep garnet colour, tarry with faint smoked leather nose, velvety, bold, slightly sweet on the front palete, dry, but a balanced finish. Drink now with goats cheese.

14% Cabernet Franc. Quite sweet on the nose, rich fruit, some spices, a bit one-dimensional. On the palate again sweet fruit, slightly hollow and frail with unpleasant dryness towards the spicy finish. Like the 2008 Millennium this also doesn't seem to be very well balanced. I see no reason to keep this. 86-88

Dark fruit on the nose, some bell pepper notes, spices as well as tobacco. A little closed still on the palate, spicy, slightly drying. The tannins are round and ripe though. Fresh, balanced, quite long. Very good potential. 90-91+

A bit candy like. Blackberry and red fruit. Hidden oak scents in the back. Medium bodied wine. Packed full of acidity. Supple tannins. Score: 3/5

Big, ripe and crunchy fruit - for now somewhat simple and straightforward but there is enough depth here to allow some aging. I fear it lacks a touch of acidity and freshness though. Decent enough for the BBQ.
