Saddler's Creek Cabernet Sauvignon Equus Collection Series Ten

Opaque dark colour with purple hue. Aroma of plum, licorce and oak. Medium plus body, purple fruit flavour, grape, mulberry, boysenberry. Tannin is fine and unobtrusive, it is dry but not overly so. The fruit is the winner, almost a perfumed elegance to it. Smooth and absolutely enjoyable. Reminds me of a young Cabernet franc. Only a medium finish but so enjoyable. Drank in the afternoon with no breathing time and without food. Wasn’t expecting it to be so good. …
