Exciting silvaner, definitely a cut above, with the weight of an excellent Spätlese trocken and a light playfulness I don't associate with this grape. Unusually lifted, almost citric, acidity on the entry; short clean finish. I wonder what "mayomatjes" tasted on 25.04.2011 and rated 77P - unfortuntely s/he didn't bother to write a TN. Surely it must have been a different wine. 87P
