90-minute double decant. Deep magenta color. Cherry, strawberry, lavender, pen ink, and subtle limestone. Smooth, dry, dusty palate, with soft, tongue coating acidity. Lower intensity tannins on the medium long finish. This was not bad, but far below what I was expecting. I’m someone who defends American wine overseas, but this is a bad example of an Americanized Pinot. It lacked many of the nice things you’d expect from a good Burgundy.

Wow, wat stuivend lekkere wijn. Soepel, met tonen van salmiak is hij heel aanwezig maar niet overheersend. Licht gekoeld komt hij goed tot zijn recht. Subliem!
