Definitely improving with more age. Still youngish but with excellent structure, full fruit expression and a medium finish. It was perfect with a rich salmon dish given the integrated acidity of the wine. Has five years left easily.

Arômes de tabac, d'épices, de sous-bois et de griotte. Son fruits...discret, est mûr. Un vin souple aux tannins fins. Saveurs de vieux cuir. Longue finale. Très bien !

This is a great example of a relatively light style Chianti. Drinks perfectly now, should be good for another three to five years.

Had this with home-made Ribollito and it was perfect. Very much a food-wine. Very nice Chianti. Good acid, nice finish. Will smooth out further in a few years, but if you like Chianti, why wait that long? This drinks well now. Really enjoyed it, and for $20 its a steal.

Same notes as July. Really fun stuff, well-oiled by friends. It went quickly, unfortunately, as I'm sure it would be nice on day 2.

A bit rough at this stage and needs time to evolve. Decent pasta wine for now.

Viticcio : Deep purple color. Complex aromatic display of red and black currants, dusty earth, violets cedar, coffee. Bold structure with grippy tannins and moderating acidity. Plum cake, black currant, oozing blackberries, the fruit is rich but tangy and doused in violets, sweet pipe tobacco, vanilla, espresso, potting soil. Deep and concentrated but so pretty, it really opens up with a few hours and gets suave and velvety. A very long life ahead.
