Delicious upfront, but lack a sustained finish

Floral and pastille notes on the rather restrained nose belie the taste explosion on the palate. Tart, bitter, sweet, dusty, charred, smokey cherries; raspberry jam; mushrooms; lavender; tobacco; flint; and previously noted tomatoe paste, black olives and pepper swirl together on the lightly tannic, medium-long finish. Great juice with a great qpr.

Very good - it was a tough night and I didn't take notes or score it, but this is excellent for the price for sure.

Dark plum color, but transparent. Very aromatic - floral, black olive tapenade, underbrush, boysenberry. Huge mouthfeel on the fore, with lots of black fruit and olives. Nice mid palate and a powerful finish with black pepper and leathery tannins. Notes of roasted tomato, and herbs round this out. Very nice, light tannin rhone. Excellent, particularly for the price of 15 bucks! Wow.

Nice nose, legs, and tannins. Black berry and black pepper and a little bit of tobacco. Drinks above the price. Good buy.

90m air, medium/pale ruby color with some hints of orange. Shy, with aromas of sour cherry, anise, and white pepper. Medium-bodied, with juicy red fruit and earthy notes and citrus peel on the finish. Attractive style, easy drinking.
