Sensually, this wine is an unqualified home run. The nose is as loud and wild as a Hendrix riff, and it hits you in the face with cherry, rose, orange zest, and feral herbal feedback from all the stem inclusion - the hallmark of this bottle. It’s got a medium body, ripeness, and rusticity, but it is a touch volatile. It did not rise to the level of flaw, but a careful, slow sniff did reveal a lick of solvent …

When you get a good bottle of Whitcraft it is special I got one Deep pinot fruit Still amazing freshness Long smooth finish with layers of purple flowers and chocolate cherry Absolutely stunning

Pleasant, but half muted nose doesn't prepare you for the palate of deep and rich boysenberry, blueberry, and blackberry pie. Not much of a finish here, but it doesn't hurt my rating much. I'm not a Pinot fan by any means but this won me over immediately. Will have to try and find some more.

I decanted this wine about 4 hours. This wine was really dark. I couldn't even see my fingers through it. You could really tell how extracted it was on the nose. Lots of cherry, lots of cola, and lots of forest floor. It ended with a little rose petals and vanilla. The palate was very polished and had bing cherries and rose petals. It finishes with bit of forest floor and spice.
