Note: I use a scale on which 85 represents a very good wine. Decent entry level Chablis. Opened a bit on day 2. Not as acidic as some other have mentioned. May have mellowed out over time.

P&P, 56F. Light yellow. Quince, honey and stone in a very pleasant nose. Huge amount of acid, light to medium body. Some apple and peach but a little overwhelmed by the acid. Sharp, almost bitter finish.

I continue to rely on Garagiste for under $20 Chablis with some character and this delivered. Better than the '07 version from this producer. Nice bright acidity, by no means a stunner, just a great summer wine. Served with fresh garden veggies, a hummus and a parmesan taragon chicken salad (picked up at Surdyk's in Mpls)....all on a picnic table.

Great stuff. Very Chablis in character. Striking density, acidity and extract. Great midplate and finish. Big but balanced. A great vintage and an impressive wine from this producer. I've gone through three bottles, and they've all shown consistently well.

Classic 08 Chablis, very dry and full of tension and verve, mineral and stern apple flavors dominate, a very good buy from Garagiste.
