Four hour decant. Bright magenta color, with a dark core. Blackberry, boysenberry, cannoli, Italian parsley, and subtle toffee drizzle. Dry, plush, satiny palate. Firm, medium intensity tannins on the longish finish. This definitely benefited from the long decant. It’s got a wonderful mouthfeel.

Two and a half hour decant. Very deep dark magenta color. Blackberry, plum, dark raspberry, slate, basil, dark cocoa, tangerine, and subtle strawberry shortcake. Dry, coarse satiny, full bodied, modestly grippy palate. Firm tannins on the longish finish. This is just a touch dense in its youth (i.e., the notes are compressed). Can handle a 3+ hour decant right now. I thoroughly enjoyed this and it feels like it will still improve a bit. 95+

Two hour decant. Very deep dark intense magenta color. Blackberry, boysenberry, tangerine rind, oatmeal cookie, and subtle graphite. Dry, plush palate, with fine velvety acidity. Voluptuous tannins on the longish finish. This is already very easy drinking. My score has no potential and it’s conservative, allowing room to grow. There’s zero extraction, but this is the tiniest touch simple and confectionery at the moment. It will gain more complexity in the next two years. One of the better ‘19s currently.

Several hour slow ox and Vacuvin’d overnight. Deep dark purplish magenta color. Ripe mixed fruit, French toast, and florals on the nose. Super smooth, dry, plush palate. Firm, full, lower intensity tannins on the longish finish. This may have had more air than I would like, but it’s still drinking great. I’ll like do a two hour decant the first time I have a bottle at home (had this at the tasting room in Napa).

Four hour slow ox. Nearly opaque electric lavender magenta color. Cranberry, raspberry, cassis, rose petals, oak barrel and cinnamon French toast on the nose. Smooth , dry, full bodied palate, with velvety acidity. Firm and very full tannins on the longish finish. My score is a placeholder because this is so youthful. I believe it will be at least this good in a year or two.
