Lively and lovely, rounded, citrus, full bodied without being oaky. In a prime spot for a fun nerdy wine.

This is a pleasant, moderately complex wine. It’s a little on the sweet side, very low acid, medium body, some honey. At $49 it is way overpriced. I felt like I was making a charitable contribution to the winery.

Creamy, plump, sunny, and juicy; while also briny, electric, and with a constricting almost-bitterness on the finish. From the nose alone, I'd guess it was a Riesling -- it has those floral, honey, petrol notes. A fascinating wine that invites focus and contemplation, while being truly delicious to drink.

Goodbyes and birthdays (Chicago, IL) : Interesting wine, with a nice bit of saline, but overall lacking in redeeming acidity and with way too much bitterness on the back end.

Kinda a beautiful salty smell on the nose. Apparently the limestone is what makes the appellation different. Rounded on the palate. Certainly really darn interesting. This is apparently the current release as well.

Lemon, pine resin, sea air on the nose. Middle weight presence of fruit with great acid drive and tension. A lovely aperitif wine on a Friday evening after a long hard week.
