Lillian Winery Syrah Gold Series No. 11

This bottle recently arrived with a missing capsule, apparently suffering some damage either during packing or in transit. Since it can't go back, what else can you do but have (a possibly flawed) one far too young? Decanted 30 minutes before service. In the glass, deep, dark, youthful purple-magenta, as young as you'd expect. On the nose, crushed dark berries, beef blood, and a secondary note of dried herbs.
